Track Rules

We want you all to be as safe as possible while riding at Exeter Eagles BMX track so we do have some track rules we ask riders and parents to be aware of and follow

So before riding please remember :-

  • You need long sleeves, trousers, gloves* and a full face helmet* (no bare skin should be visible)
  • Never go round the track backwards
  • Always Look before entering the track and wait for a safe gap
  • Consider whether an approaching rider can see you before entering the track
  • Do not run across the track at any point
  • Do not cut in from the bottom of the start hill when other riders are starting a lap
  • Use the back of the start hill to gain entry, do not go up the front of the hill
  • Don’t stop or congregate on the track, there are waiting areas off track available
  • If you are helping your child on the track please stay to the side and don’t go down the middle

The rules are there to help you stay safe and enjoy your ride.

* Gloves and Full Face Helmets are available to hire at the track if you don’t have your own, and remember your first ride this is free.
