COVID-19 Code of Conduct

Parents and Riders

This code covers additional items related to our Covid19 risk assessment and is in addition to our standard code of conduct.

Please note compliance with this code is a condition of entry AND Exeter Eagles expects parents to take responsibility for how their child conducts themselves and ensure they meet this code of conduct.

1. Please park well clear of the coned area adjacent to the entrance and leave appropriate space to allow social distancing measures.

2. Please Only enter if you have booked for a session and head straight to registration.

3. If you are showing coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your household are self-isolating, YOU SHOULD NOT BE HERE!

4. Please wash your hands before leaving home and on returning home

5. Those families who have raised concerns may use the spectator area adjacent to the first straight which is hardly ever used and will ensure even greater social distancing.

6. Face coverings are not mandatory, but may be worn if required.

7. Hand sanitiser is available on arrival for parents and riders

8. Please read and comply with the NEW signage.

9. As always please be respectful of other riders and volunteers.

10. Listen to club officials and do as asked. (they will be identified by hi vis vests)

11. Bring your own equipment – Club equipment is available for hire, however this cannot be guaranteed due to 72hr periods between hires for some items.

12. Where we do not already hold this, you may be asked for your contact number in case the information is needed for the Government’s track and trace program

13. Riders are asked to keep sufficient distance between the rider in front to ensure social distancing is maintained, unless overtaking which should be on a different ‘line’ at least 1m apart, and riders should avoid ‘cutting back’ in front of an overtaken rider until well in front of them. This approach is to allow for stopping and reacting time, in case of a fall, change in direction or sudden stoppage of the rider in front. (Use your common sense and give as much space as possible).

14. Full and half laps (from start hill) only to be completed, no stopping on the track. Please return to your spectator area when resting.

15. If you want to chat to your friends please keep 2 meters apart.

16. Only stop on the raised rider rest areas – keeping 2 meters apart

17. Please be aware of incidents on the track, if you’re on the track please slow down and watch for riders down.

18. No physical contact – No hugs, high-fives or handshakes.

19. Do not share any mobile devices, equipment, food or drink with others.

20. Please leave plenty of space and be considerate of other riders, especially those younger or less experienced.

21. The end of the session will be indicated by marshals.

22. Once the session has ended please leave the facility promptly and ensure you maintain social distancing.

STAY ALERT – STAY SAFE.
Note.
Some marshals children may have to come to the track with them to enable them to facilitate the session. AND yes they will have more opportunity to ride the track. If you would like to volunteer as a Marshal please message the club.
